Welcome to House of Power Outreach’s Men of Power and Purpose. Let me introduce you to a radical new concept for men. Are you ready? Here it is. We love Jesus and have a blast serving Him. Did you know you can be obedient to the Word of God and still laugh, play and have fun? It's true. A man with the Joy of the Lord can handle anything life throws at him. How do we do it? I'm glad you asked.
Once a month, we come together for a special Word specifically for us… a Word that will strengthen, challenge and encourage you. God wants us to be leaders who also serve. We won't settle for just being good or average, but being excellent husbands, fathers, sons, brothers and friends. We are strong in our spirits, humble in our lives, and loving others as Christ loves us.
We also get together as often as our schedules allow to have some M-A-N time. Just some time to get away from the normal grind… maybe stuff ourselves with some wings, spend the night camping, take a deep sea fishing trip, or have a College Football/Madden tournament. We’re always looking for any reason to hang out together. You won't find any better brothers than these.
The Men of Power & Purpose meet at 7:15pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month. This is a special time for men to come together in fellowship to confront the problems that men ar dealing with in the world today.
